Queen Kat Designs Wednesday WIS Blog Hop


I am so excited to share with you my very first Queen Kat Designs Whimsical Ink Sorority creation for the WIS Wednesday Blog Hop. 


I used this month's sketch for my layout, turning it and slightly changing it a little, but keeping to the basic elements.  These images are just so adorable and a real pleasure to colour.  May I introduce you to Holly Christmas Mermaid, isn't she a cutie?  I felt she just cried out for shades of purple and I'd love to know what she is holding in her pretty box!  I used ProMarkers to colour her, adding touches of Spica Glitter pen in purple and clear.  I also added a little Diamond Stickles to the trim on her hat and top.  The backing papers were free in a magazine and I punched out the snowflakes from purple metallic and white card.  The ribbon was from my stash.  The QKD store has special offers running at the moment, you can grab yourself some free stamps when placing an order (see store for terms and conditions) what are you waiting for?!
