This week the Less is More Challenge is to create a one layer card and include embossing - and of course follow the usual rules of 'less is more'.
I decided to incorporate some dry embossing on my entry, using my trusty Cuttlebug and a lovely floral embossing folder. I also used three stamps from a set by Dark Room Door.
My base card is 5x7 used in landscape format and I embossed the front to just over halfway from the lefthand edge. I then drew two lines at the edge of the embossed area using dark brown ink and stamped the solid flower 5 times next to the lines using Memento Potters Clay ink. I then overstamped the matching outline over the top of each flower, offsetting some of them so the outline doesn't quite match, using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. The sentiment was also stamped with Rich Cocoa and I think makes this card appropriate for many occasions.
Thanks for dropping by to check out my project today.
This is a beautiful card Wynneth. Jo
