Let's Hear it for the Boys!


I had to get my creative 'thinking cap' on this week for the weekly Let's Get Stamping challenge over on Craftbubble.  There is a simple sketch to follow, but the twist for the challenge is "don't get your knickers in a twist" !  At first I had no idea how I was going to approach this theme, but then I remembered the boxer shorts stamp that came free with Craft Stamper Magazine many months ago - perfect!

I stamped the image onto three different pieces of patterned paper and cut them out.  The background papers are from my stash and I added a couple of pieces of Card Candy and two clear gems to complete the sketch.  The sentiment was in my box of bits which I think was stamped up when my pal Annie came round a few weeks ago and brought her stash of sentiment stamps with her for me to play with. 

It isn't easy to move out of one's 'comfort zone' but I think it can be a refreshing change to have to approach a subject from a completely different angle.

    Fab take on the sketch and twist Wynneth. Love the papers and the boxers. Also wanted to say that I just caught you stash update on LGS and your daughter has definitely found her crafty talent. WOW! Jewellery is DEFINITELY her THAING....Its wonderful.
