New Whiff of Joy Autumn Kit
Here are two more cards made using stamps from the new Whiff of Joy Autumn Kit. Both images were coloured using ProMarkers with small touches of Sakura white pen as highlights. The purple flowers are by Prima with a touch of Shimmerz pixie dust paint added to give a little sparkle to them. The purple DP is from the DCWAV Pocket full of Posies stack and the charms, button and ribbon are from my stash. The beige coloured DPs are from a Paper Mania pad with Memento Cocoa ink pad dragged around the edges to give a distressed look to the layers. The ribbon is from my stash.

Love Grows WoJ
I made this little card quickly last night using the Craftbubble Willow Sketchie Challenge 220809 sketch. I used 3 of the stamps from the Whiff of Joy Autumn Kit and I think this chap is just adorable, especially seated on his giant mushroom! I used the corner stamp from the kit to add a little interest to the cream layer which I cut with an oval nestabilities die. The yellow layer was edged with my newly acquired border punch and I added the pumpkins from the WoJ kit and a couple of bunches of corn on the cob from a set of small acrylic stamps I have in my stash (can't recall the manufacturer right now but may return to this post and add it later!) which I thought matched perfectly with the WoJ images. I coloured the images with ProMarkers with a few little touches of Sakura white glaze pen, I then dragged a royal blue chalk ink pad around the edge of the yellow layer and stamped the sentiment from the WoJ Summer Kit with Memento Cocoa ink. I then cut out and embossed the sentiment with a small oval nestabilities die. The flower and flower shaped brad are from my stash. The DP was cut from a sheet of denim effect 12 x 12 paper which I found sitting in the 'bargain bucket' for sale at 10p in my local Art Shop - think I wish I'd bought more sheets!!

This week's Willow Sketchie
Here are my two entries for this week's Willow Sketchie Challenge over on Craftbubble.com. In addition to the sketch the theme for this week was to use Green (any shade/s) on our creations. The green wellies are from a set of Cute Companions stamps, coloured with ProMarkers. The flowers are from Prima, with green buttons from my stash added and leaves cut with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from a See D's set of stamps, cut out with an oval nestabilities die and edged round with the same green PM as used on the wellies. The second card was created using a Creative Impressions stamp that I have to confess I've had for ages but never really used much in the past! Again coloured with PMs with a little Angel Wings Shimmerz painted over the dolphins, Diamond Stickles added to the frame, stars in her hair and her tiara, with glossy accents on her lips and the shells, which were cut from the "Sea Frame" stamp from I Brake For Stamps. The seaweed/coral was created from a few fronds punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is another of the Susanaments from SCACD, embossed with cosmic shimmer embossing powder, then cut out with an oval nestabilities die and green chalk ink dragged around the edge. The green background layer was put through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and the green ribbon was from my stash.

My first entry for a Mojo Monday sketch challenge
Well, here it is - my very first submission for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge :0) I used one of my newly acquired Miss Anya stamps by The Greetings Farm. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and cut it out with my nestabilities deckle edge die. I layered the scallop edged DP on to a piece of cream lace, with just the edge of the lace peeking out to add to the scalloped effect. The DP is from a pack of Laura Ashley papers and the blue layer was from my stash. The sentiment was another of the Susanaments from SCACD. This is quite a simple card compared to most of the cards I have been making recently and I felt a little apprehensive that it looked a little bare, even though there are lots of patterns going on. Not completely sure I am happy with it, but I've posted it anyway...

Winning News
I entered this card on the Craftbubble.com Willow Sketchie Challenge for last week and received the great news yesterday that mine was the winning entry :0) I get to choose a free download from Willow Designs for my prize - still deciding what to have at the moment, but will be making a choice soon :0) The theme for last week's challenge was to use the colour Carmine. I chose a lovely Gorjuss Girl stamp from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with ProMarkers. The backing paper is one of the papers I received as part of my membership of the Graphicus Guild. I thought the butterflies were just the perfect colour and cut out a single one to add as an embelishment. The background was made from cream card, stamped over with swirls and flourishes stamps using Magenta chalk ink. The stamped image and pink layer were cut using my deckle edge nestabilities die and my Cuttlebug. The sentiment is one of the Susanaments from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.

Carmine sketchie
I thought I would share with you my entry for this week's Willow Sketchie Challenge over on Craftbubble.com. I followed the sketch and part of the challenge was to use the colour Carmine. As I don't have a carmine ProMarker, I incorporated the required colour in the BPs. The BPs are by Graphicus - two of the free papers I received as part of my membership of the Graphic Guild. The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - Life is a Journey by Leanne Ellis and was cut out using a scalloped oval nestabilities die. The image is coloured using ProMarkers and I added a little glossy accents on the dots to emphasise them a little. The sentiment is one of the Susanaments from SCACD (Susana's Custom Art and Card Design). The Flowers and charm are from my stash.

Perfect Day
Here is another card I created using the Geisha stamp from The Greetings Farm. The image was coloured with ProMarkers and then cut out with a nestabilities label die. A further layer was cut from green card with the larger label die and the horizontal layer embosed with a cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder and all layers were edged with a gold krylon pen. The flowers are from my stash as is the charm, bead spacer and brad. The sentiment is by Whiff of Joy and was cut out using a nestabilities tag die and again edged with the gold krylon pen.

I created this card for the August challenge on Craftbubble.com. The challenge for this month was to use mica pigment powders. There was no sketch to work to so a free reign for creative ideas. The image is one of The Greetings Farm range of stamps and I coloured her with ProMarkers. The background was created by stamping on black card using versamark and then brushing over the images with red and gold Cosmic Shimmer mica pigment powders. The stamps were from a set of clear oriental theme stamps which I purchased some time ago from QVC. I then stamped two oriental designs, again using versamark, on red card and brushed on gold mica powder. The gold ribbon, chinese coin, red flower and red heart were all from my stash. I added a small amount of Diamond Glaze to the flower in the Geisha Girl's hair.
