Ticket for a Fun Time

I realised that my box of Sugar Nellie stamps has been sadly neglected for a while so I thought I'd use one for this project.  I chose this cute little manga image and a fun Ticket style sentiment from Hero Arts.

I used the sketch from the I ♥ ProMarkers blog challenge from a couple of weeks ago as I so enjoyed using it last time.  This pretty flower paper was in my stash and I added a strip of turquoise card cut with one of my favourite border punches at the moment.

I coloured her with my ProMarkers and cut her out and added her with silicon glue to a round layer cut with a nestabilities die.  This was then attached over a slightly larger scalloped round layer cut with a nestie.  The butterfly was punched out with my Martha Stewart punch and I added some tiny pearls for the body.  Four pieces of white Card Candy and the ticket style sentiment - et voila!  the finished card.

Thanks for visiting today.

Tilda With I ♥ ProMarkers

Over on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog this week, challenge #12 is to follow the sketch provided and create a new project.  This week's prize is sponsored by Die Cut Dreams - a great incentive to enter this challenge!

For my DT card I decided to use this cute little Tilda stamp from Magnolia.  I just love her cute boots and the frilly petticoats under her skirt.

I coloured her with ProMarkers then cut her out using a circle nestabilities die, allowing just her legs to pop out over the edge of the circle. The image was then attached over a layer cut from dark green pearl card using an inverted scallop nestie and Stickles added to the frills of her petticoat.  I cut a scallop circle layer from pale green pearl card and attached the image layers over this before adding to the base card.

The cute cupcake background paper is from the 'Sweet Nothings' pad by Papermania and the lace was from my stash.  The lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added some Diamond Dust to them - I have to say that this is one of my favourite products at the moment!  A couple of pieces of Magnolia gem garland were added either side of the flowers.  The sentiment is from a set by Papermania and cut out with a small circle nestie and attached to a layer cut from the dark green pearl card using a slightly larger petite scallop circle nestie.

I do hope to see an entry from you for this week's challenge, everyone is welcome.  Just add a direct link to your project via Mr Linky on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog and keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I do appreciate your support and if you'd care to leave me a comment I would be even happier !

The Lovely Loreli

Welcome to my Weekly Wednesday WIS Spotlight.  On wednesday each week I showcase one of my projects on the Whimsical Ink Sorority Blog for Queen Kat Designs.
I also like to share my projects on here for my regular blog visitors, but if you wish to see other DT creations, it's well worth a visit to the WIS Blog any time.  Every day a member of the DT showcases their own projects and there are some really inspirational creations on there.

This week we were given the picture on the right as inspiration for our projects and I decided to select the aqua and reddish brown shades to use on my card.

How could anyone resist the awesomely lovely Loreli Mermaid - isn't she wonderful?  How I would love to have a fabulous figure like that!!!!

The background papers are from the Papermania Persimmon Collection, which I distressed a little.  The image was coloured with ProMakers and Copics then cut out with a nestabilities die.  This was then attached over blue, then orange, metallic layers cut with progressively larger dies from the same set.  Finally, I added some of these luscious turquoise flat back pearls, which I recently purchased from the QKD Store.  There's a 30% off sale at the Store right now too!

I hope you'll drop by again next wednesday when I will be sharing another of my projects with you.

Pink Candy Hair with a difference!

Well, it's monday again folks and time for our weekly Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop! I hope you arrived here via Lara's Blog, but if you didn't, you might like to go to the beginning and start at the QKD Blog so you don't miss any of the amazing creations by the DT.

We are working with this picture for inspiration this week and it's a great colour combo and perfect for my project today.

I decided to use the lovely newly released 'Pink Candy Hair' Mermaid which is available in the QKD Store right now, you might like to add her to your own stamp stash, so do pop over to the Store after you finish the Hop.  *** there's a massive 50% off stamps right now, and we are so excited at the news that all stamps sold after 1 May will be in rubber!  So what are you waiting for, get over there and pick up a bargain! ***

I coloured Candy Hair with Copics and ProMarkers in these lovely rich colours and added touches of Spica glitter pen here and there.

I have to say I don't often create a card using no background papers, but I wanted to replicate the lovely crisp contrasts of the bright colours against the white background in the inspirational picture.

I cut this lovely frame from blue metallic card, with a nestabilities frame die and mounted it using foam pads to raise it up from the base card. The blue flowers and metallic centre flowers are from my stash.

So there we have it - a plain, simple but effective layout using a beautiful image to create a card which could be used for any occasion.

I'm now sending you hopping along to Kimme's blog to see what gorgeous creation she has to share with you today. Thank you for joining us in the Hop, don't forget the rest of the DT do their Hop tomorrow and you can start once again over on the QKD blog and just follow the links.

Sweet Stampin Sketch Challenge

As April is virtually over, this is my last project as Guest Designer on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog (sniff...sniff!).  I have had so much fun working with the amazingly talented DT for this month it has been an honour.

For my last GDT project I decided to use this 'Poise' stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I love the elegance and simplicity of this image and the unusually shaped frame around the character.

The challenge for this week is to follow the sketch - which you can find on the SSC blog here.  I do hope you'll create an entry yourself this week.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and used some of these lovely papers, ribbon and bow from the Persimon collection by Papermania.  The lefthand side of the stamped image was cut using a Martha Stewart border punch.

The sentiment is from The Greetings Farm and I used Distress Ink to sponge around the edges.  Finally I added just a touch of Spica glitter pen to the flowers and the 'fascinator' on her hair.

I hope you've enjoyed viewing my GDT creations throughout the month and if you haven't seen the earlier ones, you can find them further down the list of postings here on my blog.

Thanks for visiting today, I do hope you'll stop by again soon and allow me to share more of my projects with you.

Black and White and Pink All Over

Well, my title is not as good as the old joke "what's black and white and red all over?" but I decided to use this vibrant pink as my accent colour for my I ♥ ProMarkers DT card this week.

Challenge # 11 this week is to create a project using the colours black and white plus one more colour.  This week's prize is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, so a great reason for submitting an entry this week, don't you think?   Just add a direct link to your creation on your blog via Mr Linky on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog.

I pulled out this sweet Gorjuss Girl image from Sugar Nellie as I wanted an 'unfussy' image to best demonstrate the impact of using just a couple of colours.  The embossed dark grey pearl layer was created with a star embossing folder in my Cuttlebug.  The flowers were punched out with a Martha Stewart double flower punch from white card, then coloured with a Magenta ProMarker to exactly match the little star she's holding.

I do hope you feel inspired to enter the challenge this week, myself and the rest of the DT love checking out your blogs to view your entries.

Monarch Mia

Today I bring you the lovely Monarch Mia Mermaid from Queen Kat Designs.  She is quite a stunner and and joy to colour.

I am showcasing her in my regular Wednesday spotlight on the Whimsical Ink Sorority Blog for QKD today.  The colour theme for the DT to work with this week is yellow, blue and green and these colours are just perfect for Mia.

For this card I've chosen to use a very simple layout as the lovely image and metallic card need very little additional embellishment.

The image was coloured with Copics and ProMarkers with touches of Spica glitter pen added.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today, if you would like to have Mia in your own stamp stash, here is a link which will take you direct to the QKD Store.

I'll have another spotlight project for you next wednesday, I hope you will visit again then.

Beautiful Row of Pearls!

Glad you hopped here today - especially if you arrived while taking part in the Queen Kat Design Monday Blog Hop.  If you didn't get here via Lara's blog, might I suggest that you start at the beginning on the QKD blog, just follow the links so you don't miss any of the gorgeousness that the DT have created to share with you!

Our challenge for this week is to use the colour combo yellow, blue and green - great colours to use together I think you'll agree.  We are also using some of the QKD stamps which have been in the store for a while, rather than the brand new stamps released for April.  Many stamps, old and new, are available right now in the QKD Store.

I decided to spotlight the lovely 'Pearl Mermaid' today, she's a real sweetie and I haven't used her in a while.

I stamped her three times, coloured with ProMarkers and Copics and mounted the images on to pieces of green pearl card.  The green layers were first embosed with a tiny rose design Cuttlebug embossing folder.

The background paper was from my stash and I attached the images in a line to give me 'A Row of Pearls' !

I hope you've enjoyed your visit to my blog today, I'm now going to send you hopping along to Kimme's blog, where she has an awesome project to share with you today.

Do come back and hop with us again next monday when we'll have a whole new set of projects to share with you.  The rest of the DT will be hopping tomorrow and will be starting at the QKD Blog.  Don't forget to check out all the great stamps and crafting goodies in the QKD Store once you've completed the hop!

Sweet Stampin - "In Stitches"

Today I am sharing with you my third creation as a Guest Designer for the month of April on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog .  This week the theme is "In Stitches", which could be interpreted in a number of ways - real stitching, faux stitching or humour (having you in stitches!) I decided to create a humorous card.  The DT cards are all displayed on the Blog, do hop over there and check them out, you're sure to be inspired!

This wonderfully amusing Fairy Godmother stamp is by Butterfly Kisses - I just love her boots!

I coloured the image with Copics and ProMarkers, adding touches of clear and orange Spica glitter pens.  I masked the main image and used the stars stamp from the set to add a background.  I coloured the stars with gold Spica pen and added Crystal Stickles to her wings and crystal ball and also added Glossy Accents to the crystal ball, the glass in her spectacles and boots.

The image was cut out using a nestabilities labels die and mounted on a layer cut with a slightly larger die from the same set, using orange metallic card.  This layer was then embossed with a Cuttlebug stars folder.

The background papers are from the Papermania Persimmon Collection, the flowers were stamped on scraps of matching paper and cut out.  I finally added Faded Burlap Distress Stickles in the centre of each flower.  The ribbon on the lefthand side  is also from the Persimmon range.

I hope you've enjoyed viewing my card today and that it has inspired you to submit an entry for this week's challenge.  Just hop on over to the SSC blog for all the details.   Next saturday I will have my final SSC GDT project to share with you, I do hope you'll stop by again then.

Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty...

The challenge this week over on the I ♥ ProMarkers challenge blog is to follow the sketch - plain and simple!! - no theme or colours to use in your entries this week.   Just pop over to the blog to get the full details.

This week's prize is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps so what are you waiting for? Just add the link to your creation via Mr Linky on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog and keep your fingers crossed!!  If you do have any Whimsy stamps or digi images, it would be fun if you used them on your entry - but isn't a requirement.

For my DT card this week I decided that this cute 'Pebbles the Cat' image was just purrrrfect.  I'm more a 'dog person' than a 'cat person' but I can imagine just how soft and snuggly that fur would be to touch!

I thought I'd 'break out' a few of, what I call, my autumnal papers and colours this week.  I've been using so many bright springlike colours and papers lately that I fancied a change - do you like to vary the colours you use on each project or do you find you stick with favourites?  Please leave me a comment and let me know, I'm fascinated to learn how everyone's creative process is influenced.

I added a length of lace, overlaid with some sparkly orange ric rac ribbon and attached with staples (I've been using staples quite a lot lately!!) Pebbles is cut out using a nestabilities oval die and laid over a slightly larger layer cut with a scalloped oval die.  The cute little buttons were in a goody bag from PaperMania and I created the sentiment on my computer and, of course, the image was coloured with ProMarkers.

I hope you have fun joining in with this week's challenge, everyone is welcome and it would be great if you are able to submit an entry this week.

Grunge Paper Sadie

Welcome to WIS Wednesday again!  I'm so pleased you dropped by today.

As you may know, every wednesday I spotlight one of my projects on the Whimsical Ink Sorority blog for Queen Kat Designs.  For these projects I use some of the totally awesome mermaid and fairy stamps designed by the talented Maigan Lynn and sold in the QKD Store.

For today's project, I used the newly released 'Sadie's Victory' stamp - isn't she just fabulous?!!  I decided to colour her in monochrome using an extensive pallet of grey ProMarkers.  After her 'Victory' I think Sadie would want to show off some of the 'goodies' from that huge treasure chest she is sitting on, so I added lots of tiny pearls to her hair.
When it came to creating a background for the card, I thought I'd have a play with some of my stock of Grungepaper.  I cut a piece of the GP in a sort of freehand jigsaw style, coloured each piece with different Tim Holtz Distress Inks, then 'stitched' all the pieces back together with metal staples.  I layered this on to the base layer of dark grey pearl paper, attached three 'diamonds' at the bottom left and tied some leather thonging around the layer.  The image was cut out using a nestabilities die and attached to a layer cut from mat silver card using a slightly larger die from the same set.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit - there are always great inspirational projects on the WIS blog from all of us on the Design Team if you care to hop over there, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
BTW I often wonder if my visitors like the way I describe in full how I create my projects or if you would prefer it if I just showed a picture and listed the materials I used.  I'd love to hear what you think, please let me know in a comment - thanks !

Queen Kat Monday Hop - Introducing Sadie

So happy that you're Hoppin' with us today - welcome :o)  If you didn't arrive here from Lara's blog, you maybe want to start back at the beginning on the QKD Blog and just follow all the links, so you don't miss any of the awesome DT creations along the way.

All the Team for the Monday Hop are working with another great new sketch this week, plus newly released stamps - check them all out as they are available in the Store right now.

For today's project I'm introducing the fabulous 'Sadie's Victory' - another of the April new release stamps from QKD, designed by Maigan Lynn and I just love her!

As soon as I saw her I was inspired to use some of the darker, more atmospheric papers I have in my stash.  I love these luscious turquoise and purple shades in the papers and coloured Sadie to match them.

I have been working with lots of bright springlike colours and pastel shades recently, it was soooo..... nice to create with a whole new palette for this project.

My projects are often quite elaborate and highly embellished, but I felt that Sadie needed 'Star Billing' and so I kept the design quite simple.

I do hope you're having fun and being inspired during today's Hop, we are so pleased that you have joined us today.  I'm now sending you on your way to Kimme's Blog next to see her awesome creation - I wonder what fabulous new release QKD stamps she has used for her project this week.

Don't forget the rest of the DT will be doing their Tuesday Hopping tomorrow, using all of their new release stamps and a different sketch - just start again at the QKD Blog and follow the links.  The QKD Store is always open so why not check out all the new releases, 'old favourites' and bargain items when you finish the Hop - bet you'll find 'a little something' jumping into your shopping cart while you're there!

Sweet Stampin Challenge

If you visited my blog last saturday, you will be aware that I am lucky enough to have been asked to be a Guest Designer with the DT over on the Sweet Stampin Challege Blog for the month of April.  Why not submit an entry yourself for the challenge this week, I'm sure you would have fun creating it!  Just pop over to the blog to find all the details.

This is my second week as GDT and the challenge this week is to use at least three of the colours from: Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink.

For my card this week, I've again chosen to use a Lili of the Valley stamp, I just love this sweet fairy image.  I coloured her with Copics and ProMarkers and added a little Spica glitter pen.  I used Glamour Dust on her wings and Glossy Accents on the flowers and leaves.

The image was cut out using an inverted scallop circle nestabilities die and 'Faded Jeans' Distress Ink buffed around the edges of the circle.  Whilst I don't actually have the named colours in my stash, I think the colours I used are very close approximations.  The blue band across the centre was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.

The lacy edge of the Kraft layer was punched with another Martha Stewart border punch and the flowers cut with the MS Hydrangea punch from white card which I coloured with matching ProMarkers.  I used the tiny flowers, with a small pearl added, in the scallop spaces and added a little Crystal Stickles to the centre of the rest of the flowers.  The background paper is a free download from Cuddly Buddly, which I printed on to 'Morphing Mauve' pearl paper.  Finally I stamped the sentiment and cut out with a circle punch, layered it on to a blue circle cut with a smaller die from the same inverted scallop die set used for the main image.

Thanks for visiting today, I'll have another DT creation for SSC to share with you next saturday, I do hope you'll visit again then.

A Little Birdie Told Me

This sweet little image is from Whiff of Joy, I think she is so pretty and I love her hair.  The sketchie challenge on the Let's Get Stamping group over on has a sketch to follow and we are asked to use the colours pink and green this week.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and cut it out with a nestabilities die, attaching it over a pink layer cut with a slightly larger die from the same set.  The green background paper is from Papermania and the pink was from my stash.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut out a filigree heart and attached three small pink roses on top.  The sentiment is also by Whiff of Joy and was cut with a shapeabilities tag die, then pink Card Candy added at each end.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit today - please leave me a comment and let me know what you think, I love reading what everyone has to say.  I'd love to welcome you back tomorrow when I'll have another project to share with you.

Sweet Ellie - With Love

The theme for challenge #9 over on the I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge Blog this week is 'Animals' so for my DT card I chose this sweet little image from Penny Black.  It is also perfect for a card for my Sister in Law's birthday as she just loves elephants.

I cut out the image with a nestabilities circle die and attached this to a pink layer cut with a slightly larger scalloped circle die.  I then coloured her with ProMarkers and gave her some funky sparkly 'nail varnish' - which I know will make my SiL smile :o)  I used my lovely Martha Stewart double flower punch again for this card - I am so pleased I got this at the NEC recently.  There's just a little crystal stickles in the centre of the flowers and also on the flowers in the image.  A strip of cream card edged with a Martha Stewart border punch and a length of ribbon finish off the bottom of the layout.  I added a sentiment from a set by Papermania, cut out with an oval petite scallop nestie and the card was complete.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit today, this week's prize on the I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge Blog is sponsored by Joanna Sheen - a great incentive to enter a project for a chance to win if you ask me!  No sketch to follow this week, you just need to include some type of animal in your project and link it up on the blog - I hope to see you over there, it's worth a visit to the blog just to see the inspirational DT cards !

Pink Candy Hair Tri-fold Shutter Card

It's wednesday again already - my how the days fly by!  On wednesdays each week I spotlight one of my projects on the Whimsical Ink Sorority (WIS) Blog for Queen Kat Designs (QKD).  I also like to share my creations with my regular blog visitors on here.

Every month QKD release brand new stamps and myself and the other members of the Design Team are lucky enough to get to play and create examples with them to show what can be done.  I got the lovely 'Pink Candy Hair' Mermaid for this week and I will be showcasing another new stamp next week.

As you can see from the first picture I decided to create a Tri-fold Shutter Card for a change and used some pretty papers with large flowers which I've had in my stash for a while.  There is a tutorial for shutter cards on the Splitcoast Stampers website if you'd like to have a go at creating one yourself.

After creating and decorating the shutter card with the papers, I coloured the image with ProMarkers and Copics, cut it out with an oval nestabilities die then attached this to a pink layer cut with a slightly larger scalloped oval nestie.  I sprinkled Glamour Dust over Glossy Accents which was added to the starfish on the coral, the ornaments in her hair and on flowers on her tail.  Sadly the sparkle doesn't show up too well on the picture.  The sentiments are from a set by QKD.   This second picture shows the card from a slightly different angle, giving you a better view of the lovely Pink Candy Hair image.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you've enjoyed seeing my project, I'll be back next wednesday with a creation showcasing another new stamp released for April.  The new stamps are availble in the QKD Store from today.

Green and Yellow Just Cute Bear

My lovely friend Jayne sent me this cute Popcorn Bear stamp for my birthday, isn't he just a sweetie?  I coloured him with ProMarkers then attached him over a layer cut with a spellbinders shapeabilities pendant die.  The background papers are from two new PaperMania collections in green and yellow.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch at the bottom of each layer and the gingham ribbon and bow are from the PM yellow collection.  The sentiment is one of a set of three sweet ticket style stamps from Hero Arts - I'll bet this cuddly little chap has no problems exchanging his ticket for a HUG any time!  Finally I doodled some faux stitching around the edges of the two layers using a yellow Spica glitter pen.

This week's Just Cute Bears challenge asks us to use yellow and green, so this card is just perfect as my entry.   My pal Annie has set the theme for the challenge this week and I am really pleased to be able to support her by submitting my card.

New Girl on The Block!

Happy Monday to you, I hope you have enjoyed a lovely Easter holiday, I had a great time with family and even indulged in a little chocolate egg!!

As it is monday today, we are having fun on our Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop.  I hope you arrived here from Penny's blog - just hop back to the start on the QKD blog if not, that way you won't miss any of the fabulous creations the DT have been busy with this week.

A brand new month starts this week and that means new stamps are being released - whoo...hoooo !  Today I am introducing the abulously gorgeous 'Pink Candy Hair' mermaid - isn't she a sweetie?  I can't tell you how much fun I had playing with her.
The DT are working with the sketch on the left this week and, spookily enough when I went recently to the NEC craft show, I found this awesome ribbon with crystal droppers which I just had to have!  Imagine my surprise and joy when I saw the sketch for this week and the ribbon turned out to be perfect to use on my creation for today's Hop.
I coloured this awesome beauty with Copics and ProMarkers and then used a new product I bought at the NEC show.  It's called 'Diamond Dust' and gives an amazing effect, much more spectacular than glitter - it looks like tiny diamond chips.  I used some on the silk flowers and also on the coral arch that my mermaid is leaning on.  I wanted to create realistic looking coral and I think this did the trick.  It is such a shame that it doesn't show up too well on the picture, in real life it has the most amazing texture and looks remarkably like coral.

The background papers were in my stash and I added small pink brads to the centres of the flowers.  The silver half beads along the ribbon can be found in the QKD Store and I'm sure you'll want to grab this lovely girl for your stamp stash - she'll be in the Store from wednesday.  There is always great craft stash in the Store and it's well worth browsing around, you never know what bargains you might just pick up!

I'm now sending you hopping along on your way, next stop is Kimme's blog, just wait til you see what she has created to share with you today - I know you won't be disappointed!  Don't forget tomorrow's Hop when the rest of the DT will be sharing their creations with more new stamps.  I do hope you'll join me and the gang next monday when we'll be Hopping again.  Thanks in advance for any comments you might care to leave, everyone loves receiving feedback.

Happy Easter Everyone

I hope you are having a wonderful Easter and that the Easter Bunny left you lots of yummy chocolate eggs to munch on !

I had these cute little Easter chick images in my box of stamped images - I think they may be digi - which a crafting pal sent to me.  I decided they were just perfect to use on these little 4x4 cards I had in my stash and as the theme this week over on Cute Cards Thursday is "So Egg-citing" I am going to enter this trio for challenge #106.

I used papers from the Spring pad by Papermania and coloured the images with ProMarkers.  I bought the lovely Martha Stewart double flower punch when I when to the NEC last weekend and used it to punch out the flowers from pale green card, adding flowers and flower beads to the centres.  Simple layouts and elements and using just one layer of background paper meant this little trio was quick and easy to complete and I managed to get them into the post in time

Thanks for visiting today, do pop back tomorrow if you get the chance as tomorrow brings the latest Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop and I've used a newly released stamp for my project this week so you won't have seen the image before.

It's a Man's World

I have some very exciting news to share with you today!  A while ago I was invited to be a Guest Designer on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog DT for the month of April.  I feel very honoured to have been asked to do this by my good friend Jayne and I do hope that she feels I've justified her trust in me!!  Please visit the SSC blog to view all the DT creations for this week, you are sure to be inspired by the amazing projects by the DT.

There is a new challenge every Saturday, and for this my first week as GDT the theme is "It's a Man's World".  I decided to create a card using this adorable little fisherman from Lili of the Valley.  I think he's just gorgeous !

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added Glossy Accents on the water to give it a realistic apperance.

The 'wavy' background paper is a magazine freebie and the aqua card was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  I added three clear gems which look like water droplets and finally I created the sentiment on the computer.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I really do appreciate your support.  I will have another project to share with you for next week's SSC challenge, so please do visit again next saturday to check it out.

I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge #8

This is my first creation for the I ♥ ProMarkers Design Team.  We were working with a sketch this week, together with this delightful digi download from Willow Designs.

Walter with Daisy is a real sweetie, he looks so cute standing in front of the little fence clutching his shiny and sparkly daisy.  The matching background papers are also a download from Willow Designs and come in pink, blue and green.  You will notice that I managed to incorporate all the colours in my design!  I embossed the blue squares with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and coloured Walter with Promarkers.  I punched out some small flowers from the paper to attached to the length of white ribbon I added in the centre, to pull the elements of the design together.

I do hope you'll join us this week for the I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge #8, the prize for this week has been donated by Willow Designs and includes a CD containing a selection of downloads, plus a pack of ProMarkers - why not check out the details on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog.  You'll find the sketch to follow on there too.  With such a great prize on offer what are you waiting for?

Myself and the rest of the DT would love to see your creations - just enter the link to your creation on your blog via Mr Linky, we'll pop along to view your project.
