Sweet Stampin Sketch Challenge

As April is virtually over, this is my last project as Guest Designer on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog (sniff...sniff!).  I have had so much fun working with the amazingly talented DT for this month it has been an honour.

For my last GDT project I decided to use this 'Poise' stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I love the elegance and simplicity of this image and the unusually shaped frame around the character.

The challenge for this week is to follow the sketch - which you can find on the SSC blog here.  I do hope you'll create an entry yourself this week.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and used some of these lovely papers, ribbon and bow from the Persimon collection by Papermania.  The lefthand side of the stamped image was cut using a Martha Stewart border punch.

The sentiment is from The Greetings Farm and I used Distress Ink to sponge around the edges.  Finally I added just a touch of Spica glitter pen to the flowers and the 'fascinator' on her hair.

I hope you've enjoyed viewing my GDT creations throughout the month and if you haven't seen the earlier ones, you can find them further down the list of postings here on my blog.

Thanks for visiting today, I do hope you'll stop by again soon and allow me to share more of my projects with you.
