Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty...

The challenge this week over on the I ♥ ProMarkers challenge blog is to follow the sketch - plain and simple!! - no theme or colours to use in your entries this week.   Just pop over to the blog to get the full details.

This week's prize is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps so what are you waiting for? Just add the link to your creation via Mr Linky on the I ♥ ProMarkers blog and keep your fingers crossed!!  If you do have any Whimsy stamps or digi images, it would be fun if you used them on your entry - but isn't a requirement.

For my DT card this week I decided that this cute 'Pebbles the Cat' image was just purrrrfect.  I'm more a 'dog person' than a 'cat person' but I can imagine just how soft and snuggly that fur would be to touch!

I thought I'd 'break out' a few of, what I call, my autumnal papers and colours this week.  I've been using so many bright springlike colours and papers lately that I fancied a change - do you like to vary the colours you use on each project or do you find you stick with favourites?  Please leave me a comment and let me know, I'm fascinated to learn how everyone's creative process is influenced.

I added a length of lace, overlaid with some sparkly orange ric rac ribbon and attached with staples (I've been using staples quite a lot lately!!) Pebbles is cut out using a nestabilities oval die and laid over a slightly larger layer cut with a scalloped oval die.  The cute little buttons were in a goody bag from PaperMania and I created the sentiment on my computer and, of course, the image was coloured with ProMarkers.

I hope you have fun joining in with this week's challenge, everyone is welcome and it would be great if you are able to submit an entry this week.

Lovely card again Wynneth, You have coloured the image to Purr fection. I dont know wether the intention was there but your background looks just like a rug with a fringe on,amazing. As regards favourite papers,I dont have favourites, I buy papers I like. I choose the image first, then colours, then I will sort through my papers until I arrive at what combination suits me and the image.I then put my card together.
