Sooo good to be back home !

To all my regular visitors, followers and anyone who has dropped by during the past couple of weeks, I'd like to apologise for not having many new posts for you.  I've been away from home for a while, visiting (so called) sunny Spain - which was not very sunny and decidedly not warm for much of the time I was there !   However, it was a change of scenery and the weather did begin to improve just before I left to head home and the weather here has been really lovely since we got back.

I didn't have time to share pix of my latest quilting project before I went away, so here they are now.   This is a quilt I've made for a very special little girl who has a birthday coming up at the end of this month.

This view of the folded quilt shows the appliqued detail I added in one corner

My trusty 'Quilt Holder' did a grand job of displaying the whole quilt, the pic was taken in the sunshine in my garden earlier today.

I created the special label on my sewing machine

I hope to get back into the swing of crafting now I'm reunited with my stash and should be posting on here a bit more frequently.

Thanks for visiting to check out today's project, hope you enjoyed your visit.
