Blue Dreaming

Hold on to your hats, I'm taking you on a ride into The Dark Side on this lovely Tuesday !   Today I've spotlighted one of my projects on the Queen Kat Designs Dark Ink Sorority Blog

The project I'm sharing with you today features one of the newly released stamps for April, she's called 'Wind it Up' and is by the fabulous QKD artist Christina Myers. Cogs and Wheels are so 'in' at the moment so she is right on trend.

This time I've used only part of the whole image, cut out with a small scallop circle nestie die and coloured with Copics. To go under the image layer I cut a large scallop circle with a nestie and embossed it with the Cuttlebug embossing folder with cogs and wheels - perfect !

The tartan paper was a scrap I found in my stash - ideal colours - and I added a piece of matching grosgrain ribbon tied in a knot. The lush turquoise metallic half beads were from the QKD Store, I just love them and use them all the time.

That's it from me for today folks, hope you've enjoyed your visit, do come back soon I've got lots of creations to share with you.
