I recently bought this fabulous 'Crowned Hares' stamp by Crafty Individuals and couldn't wait to get it inky, so decided to use it to create my DT card for this week's challenge.
I created the background using Distress Inks, masking the 'sun' whilst adding the other colours then stamped the hares image over the top using waterproof Archival black ink. I then used a waterbrush to lift out the background colours from inside the stamped image, and re-coloured it using different DI colours.
To set the Distress Inks I spritzed the whole layer with 'Goosebumps' which sealed it and also added some interesting texture. I love the effects you can achieve with DI's but I do find the fact that they aren't waterproof a bit of a problem sometimes. Finally I added the image layer over a couple of pieces of coloured cardstock and attached a sentiment at the side.
The image layer very much stands alone without further embellishment I think, so I decided not to be tempted into adding anything else to the design.
I hope you've enjoyed checking out my project today, do check out the creations from the rest of the DT over on the CCT blog for great inspiration.

This is amazing Wynneth, so love how you created your background, it is so perfect with the hares infront of the moon! I must get more adventurous with my inks!
