Magical Monday this week is to include flowers in your design. Well, I think I might just have enough flowers on this card to fulfill the brief !
This lovely Butterfly Queen stamp is from Faerie Song Art Stamps and she's a perfect image for the Magical Monday challenge.
I coloured her with Copics and added a little clear Spica Glitter Pen and touches of Glossy Accents. The background layer is from the Pocketful of Posies pack of papers by DCWV, I just love all of them.
The frame was created with a spellbinders Shapabilities die and I punched out loads of flowers from some different coloured scraps from the papers using the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch. The beauty of these papers is that they all match up with each other, regardless of which ones you put together. I attached all the flowers around the edges of the frame and added Stardust Stickles in the centres of each. The leaves were also cut with Martha Stewart punch.
I coloured a white flower from my stash using Copics and applied Stardust Stickles for added bling. The lovely pale lilac sparkly ribbon was one of the bargains from my weekend in Bristol, only 97p a roll from What!. Finally I added some aqua gems in the top corners and three more on top of the ribbon.
I'm entering this card in the Magical Mondays challenge, so wish me luck!
