I spritzed the fibre with glimmer mists and cut out a piece to fit my base card but maintaining the natural shaped edge at the bottom. I added the fibre layer to a plain white 5x5 card as I wanted to keep the design as 'clean' as possible so that the hand made background and the image were more prominent. I coloured the image with Copics, although I only have a very few colours to work with as I mostly use Promarkers. The sentiment is from a set of clear stamps by Kanban and I thought it worked well with this image and layout. I added a piece of scrappers' floss which matched the colour palette I've used and attached it with staples. I then punched out a large retro flower and a smaller one from white card and coloured to match the image with Copics. The small mauve/beige half pearl just finishes off the flower perfectly I think.
Thanks for dropping by my blog, I hope you've enjoyed today's project. That's all from me, so until I see you again - Happy Crafting!
