Tags, Tags and More Tags

Happy Saturday dear bloggers.  I'm sitting here watching the weather unfold outside my windows and we are bracing ourselves for the 'mega storm' to hit us down here in Cornwall.  There has been so much structural damage to properties and businesses on the coast and it's forecast for even worse weather to hit today - stay safe everyone.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate and Blessed that I don't live in one of the areas suffering horrendous flooding and my heart goes out to the poor people whose homes and lands are flooded.  It must be heartbreaking to watch the water levels continuing to rise.

Today I'm sharing pix of the tags I created during a workshop I attended last Wednesday at Scrapbook Magic in Mullion, Cornwall.

During the workshop we used different techniques and materials to create six tags.  This is a shot of all six of the tags.

Tag 1.  Blended, Spritz and Flick using Distress Inks (DIs applied and tag dried with heatgun, water spritzed on parts then dried again, water drops flicked on parts and dried)

Tag 2.  Brushless Watercolour (stamp coloured using water based pens, spritzed with water and stamped onto watercolour paper)

Tag 3.  Wrinkle-Free Distress (DIs applied to craft mat, spritzed with water, tag dabbed into ink, dried, then repeated until happy with colour and inks used up, then dried with heat gun)

Tag 4.  Alcohol Agates (Alcohol inks and glossy paper to create background, image overstamped using Archival Ink)

Tag 5.  Archival Resist (glossy card, various images stamped over background using coloured Archival Inks, DIs applied and then buffed off with soft rag to reveal the vibrant colours, image overstamped using black Archival Ink)

Tag 6.  Reflections Stamping (using Archival ink, stamp onto inside of embossing folder, emboss tag to transfer the image.  Tag then coloured using DIs.

It was a fun workshop and I met some lovely ladies.  Margaret, owner of Scrapbook Magic, is so friendly and there's lots of space to work in the workshop area - far too many yummy 'must haves' in the shop too !!

Finally, here's another small tag made yesterday evening during a Stampin' Up! demonstration at my pal Jacqueline's home.

Crumb cake cardstock, Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler inks, Petite Petals stamp set, white chalk marker pen (used to outline the larger stamped flowers) dotty embossing folder and Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

Have a great weekend, thanks for dropping by to see my projects today.

FAB tags and great to see the "laboratorie" images once more

Stay safe if you have to sally forth in this weather - we've neighbours who've lost roof tiles and fences but other than that we're OK too - thank heavens
