Fit for a Purpliscious Princess

Happy Sunday morning, it's lovely to see you here.  I hope you have a nice day to look forward to and enjoying your weekend, I'm off to visit my daughter and her family in a short while, can't wait.

Today I'm sharing a project with you which I made a short while ago for my purple loving pal Kathy

.

Using a piece of Crafter's Companion watercolour card I created a background with Distress Inks - shaded lilac, shabby shutters and wilted violet.  Extra wilted violet added over through part of a Tim Holtz stencil, then water flicked over and dabbed off with a tissue to lift of some of the colour.

Lightly sprayed with Brusho Acrylic Shimmer Spray in Silver - which I think looks more like platinum and I do like it - then a few drops of Copic Opaque ink applied randomly.

The background stamped over using the flower head image from the Paper Artsy Ecclectic ELB25 stamp set designed by Lin Brown and Versamark ink, then applying white embossing powder and heated.

A sentiment created using a stamp from the SU! Sassy Salutations set and a scrap of card.  The scribbly circle embellishment cut from a scrap of SU! carstock using Tim Holtz Alterations sizzix die set, then a length of purple hemp cord wrapped around the panel and tied.

The panel matted over two layers of SU! cardstock and attached to a 6 x 6 scalloped edge square card.

Kathy loved it, I hope you do too.  Thanks for dropping by here today, hope to see you here again soon.
