I've created this card as my entry for the Sugar Bowl Challenge #20. Following the sketch provided and incorporating some paper piecing, I used Arthur as my image. This adorable stamp was part of the lovely Sugar Nellie Candy I won a little while ago, what lucky girl I am! I stamped Arthur on white card which I cut out with an oval nestie, I then stamped him again on some paper from a pad of Dovecraft Abstract Prints. All the papers have rich golds, browns and reds on them and I thought this particular one was very appropriate for Arthur. I coloured his balloons with ProMarkers then added some Diamond Glaze. I coloured the strings of the balloons with a green Spica Glitter Pen. The red metallic mat under the image was embossed using an embossing folder I purchased at the Westpoint Craft show last month. I used the Fiskars Threading Water border punch on the top and bottom edges of the red layer. The gold ribbon is from my stash and I created the flowers by layering up punched flowers, I then added some leaf sprigs punched from gold card using a Martha Stewart punch.
