It's a Man's World

I have some very exciting news to share with you today!  A while ago I was invited to be a Guest Designer on the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog DT for the month of April.  I feel very honoured to have been asked to do this by my good friend Jayne and I do hope that she feels I've justified her trust in me!!  Please visit the SSC blog to view all the DT creations for this week, you are sure to be inspired by the amazing projects by the DT.

There is a new challenge every Saturday, and for this my first week as GDT the theme is "It's a Man's World".  I decided to create a card using this adorable little fisherman from Lili of the Valley.  I think he's just gorgeous !

I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added Glossy Accents on the water to give it a realistic apperance.

The 'wavy' background paper is a magazine freebie and the aqua card was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  I added three clear gems which look like water droplets and finally I created the sentiment on the computer.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I really do appreciate your support.  I will have another project to share with you for next week's SSC challenge, so please do visit again next saturday to check it out.

Those DT posts are coming thick and fast aren't they Wynneth. You'll do them proud, I know. This Lili of the Valley image is just lovely and your colouring is superb, as ever. A truly fabulous man-card. Lauren x
