Craftbubble Bubbles

Today I thought I'd share with you the card I made as an entry for last week's sketchie challenge from the 'Craft Mad and Loving It' forum on Craftbubble.  We were asked to make an easel card and the twist was 'Bubbles'. There was a sketch to follow but I realised after finishing my card that I had completely ignored it!!  On second look, my card could almost stretch to match the sketch and after all it does have lots of bubbles on it, so I hope the DT will forgive me!

This cute little House Mouse image had been sitting around in my stamped images box for a while and he just fitted right in to this challenge.  I used nestabilties dies to cut out the shaped layers, added lots of the clear half beads I have in my stash and a strip of white card punched with an EK Success border punch to add yet more bubbles.  The pale blue pearl layer was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and is actually a snow storm but I think it looks like it could be bubbles.  I created the sentiment on my computer and coloured the image with Promarkers, finally adding clear Spica Glitter pen with Glossy Accents over the top to the bubbles for extra sparkle and dimension.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll have another project to share with you tomorrow and as it's tuesday, there'll be a Queen Kat Designs blog hop going on if you'd like to join in with us.

That's it from me for today - Happy Crafting!
