Cute Card Thursday - Using and Colouring on Kraft Card

There's a different style of challenge this week over on Cute Card Thursday, we are asked to use, stamp on and colour on Kraft cardstock.  Kraft card is right on trend at the moment and personally I love using it, although I haven't coloured it before.  Our Sponsor for this week's prize is Some Odd Girl full details are on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog.

For my DT card I decided to create a vintage style background/base card in C6 size with the fold on the narrow edge.  I stamped this lovely postcard image using a Crafty Individuals stamp with Rich Cocoa Momento ink and coloured parts of it with Copics.  There are a few touches of Platinum Stickles here and there as highlights and on the edges of the butterfly wings.  The tiny pearls along the lace edging at the bottom were created with a Waco Pearlmaker Pen.

My main image is by Hanglar & stAnglar and stamped using the Rich Cocoa ink again.  I then coloured it with Copics, the kraft card gives all the colours a lovely vintage soft finish which I have to say I really like, and will probably use this technique again.

I do hope you'll give this challenge a try, it's so great to check out all the entries.  Thanks for dropping by today to check out my project, I hope you'll stop by again real soon.

These Hanglar images are so lovely! I love the pastel shades you have used Wynneth, they work so well against the kraft.
