Blossom

This card was made as my entry for this weeks Willow Sketchie challlenge over on Craftbubble following this week's sketch and incorporating the 'twist' to 3D elements of the image. I used this pretty Blossom stamp by Leanne Ellis from Sugar Nellie. I coloured her with ProMarkers, adding a little spica glitter pen as highlights and to doodle some faux stitches around the edge of the card. Her hair and flowers were layered up with silicone, as was the sentiment and punched flower to meet the requirements of the challenge. The swirls were made with my EK success swirl punch. The spotty layers were from my stash of card.

Sassy Faerie

I created this card for the Faerie Song Art Stamps challege on Paper Craft Planet recently. Browsing through the older posts on here, I realised that I hadn't shared this one with you, so here it is now. The BP is paper free from a magazine, which I thought was just so right for this card. The image was coloured with ProMarkers and I added a few touches of Spica glitter pen for highlights. There is a little Glamour Dust glitter on her wings and I doodled some faux stitches around the edges with a Spica pen. This is a very simple layout, but the BP really didn't need much embellishing, it just fitted perfectly with the image.

Orange Post-It Note Holder

This is a little post-it note holder I made recently for the Craftbubble Willow weekly sketch challenge. It wasn't easy to get the whole sketch layout on to such a small project, but I just managed it! Along with the sketch, the challenge was to include the colour pumpkin/orange in the design. I felt really bad cutting off this Gorjuss Girl's legs, but I think she looks cute, even without legs! I used ProMarkers to colour the image, all layered on to a piece from the DCWV Pocketful of Posies paper pad. The inside and back of the note holder have more of the PoP paper to match the front cover.

Just for You

This card was made for the Faerie Song Art Stamps challenge over on Paper Craft Planet. The image is a FSAS stamp, coloured with ProMarkets. The DP is from the DCWV Pocketful of Posies stack and the blue felt flowers were from Michaels which I picked up when I was last in the USA. I added blue gems to the centres of each flower and on the top righthand corner of the image layer. I finally added a few touches of Spica glitter pen to the small hearts on both the image and the sentiment.

Happy Birthday Harry

I made this card for my eldest grandson who is 12 on 14th September. The graffiti wall is a Magnolia stamp, the skateboarding boy is from Sugar Nellie and the stars are from a Cute Companions set of stamps from Crafters' Companion. All the images were coloured with ProMarkers and I added a little glitter pen to the stars on the skateboard and the skull and crossbones. I embossed the black layer in my Cuttlebug using a CB embossing folder, then dragged a lime green chalk ink pad around the edge. The Scrabble tiles spelling out HARRY were bought recently at my local Art Shop. Inside the card I made a small pocket with another piece of the black embossed card and slipped some money inside as he is saving up to buy some new computer games. Hope you've enjoyed stopping by to see this card, leave me a comment if you wish, I love reading them all :0)

Happy Wedding Wishes

Thought I'd share this wedding card I just made for my D SiL's sister who is getting married on 14 September. I used one of my precious hAnglar and stAnglar stamped images which a lovely crafting friend kindly sent to me. I coloured the images with ProMarkers and added a few touches of Glamour Dust glitter on the champagne glasses and the bride's headband and bow. The leaves were punched out with a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers, white ribbon and small horseshoe charm are from my stash.

Love Grows Happiness

The lovely Jona was so very kind and sent me a few stamped images of some of her hAnglar & StAnglar stamps. I thought this little cutie was just perfect to add to one of the Flowersoft window toppers I bought quite a while ago. I added flowersoft to the flowers on the window and also on the band around her hair. I thought the Whiff of Joy tree stamp also fitted perfectly on this card and I also added a charm in the shape of a small bunch of flowers with the mini sentiment tag. All the images were coloured with ProMarkers and the DP and flowers were from my stash. The fronds were cut using a Martha Stewart punch.

Perfect Day for Fishing

I had already coloured this image some time ago and came across him on my desk when I was tidying! When I looked through the DCWAV Pocket Full of Posies paper stack I recently bought, I thought this paper was perfect for this little chap sitting happily fishing :0) The image was coloured with distress inks with a little touch of Spica glitter pen here and there. The fishes were coloured with the Spica pen and mounted with silicon. I created the sky effect with sky blue chalk ink pad, gently dragged across the surface. I then cut the image with my round nestie die and a second slightly larger layer cut with a scalloped circle nestie. I added small papermania sparkly gel dots to the scalloped layer. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy and this was cut with a small oval scallop nestie. The blue rick-rack braid was perfect to suggest water/waves. A very simple layout with only one piece of DP, but I think it works quite well :0)
