Frosty The Snowman

This week's challenge over on the Let's Get Stamping group on Craftbubble has a sketch to follow with the added twist to create an easel card.  This fits right in with my current favourite card making as I have got really hooked on this type of card - think I might be suffering from 'easelcarditis' !!!  I'm still working away adding to my stock of Christmas cards, and this cute Magnolia snowman was stamped for me by my crafting pal Jayne.  I think is one of the cutest snowmen I've seen for a while and the sentiment from the new Whiff of Joy Winter Kit fitted perfectly with this little chap holding his lovely snowflake.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added glamour dust to the bobble and trims on his hat and also his snowflake to give them some twinkle.  The dark blue layers were created by stamping some random snowflakes in white ink on to plain dark blue card, these were then layered on to white card.  The DP is from my stash and has a pearly finish, although this doesn't show up too well on the photograph.  The easel 'stop' was created from a round tag Christmas stamp, again from Magnolia, stamped in blue ink, sprayed with Crafters' Companion Spray and Sparkle in silver, then affixed on foam pads to raise it up.  The three sparkly snowflake brads were part of my recent Candy win from NG Cards.
