Whilst searching through my stamps looking for images to use on my Christmas cards, I came across this lovely Magnolia Tilda which I have had for some time. She is one of the older Magnolia stamps and I love the very simple lines and minimal fuss of the image. I've paired her up with the 'Fir in Snow' Magnolia stamp I recently bought from Crafts u Love and I think the two stamps work well together. Tilda has her pile of snowballs ready for a fight, I wonder who she is getting ready to throw them at!
I coloured the images with ProMarkers, adding lots of stickles for sparkle and snowy effects. Rather than an easel card with a solid front panel, I decided to attach the two images to give a more interesting profile. The background papers were printed on to white pearlised paper, using one of the patterns from the Season's Greetings CD from Artilicious. I used a silver snowflake brad as the 'stop' for the easel and added the Merry Christmas greeting from the Hobby Art Christmas sentiment set to finish off the inside.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I would love it if you left me a comment!

Oh I LOVE this one. What a fab image. I, too, love the simplified Tilda. Lets face it she's just great whichever way but this is really beautiful. Love that cute little fir tree too. I hope its not Tilly hiding behind it. What with her run in with the seagulls the other day AND Tilda throwing snow at her, she'll be getting herself a burly bodyguard soon...oooooh! Lx
gorgeous card Wynneth, cute image and love the sparkle! Iended up in hospital yesterday - diagnosis a punched nerve caused by swelling with RSI - TOTAL rest! I am fed up already, but it does hurt!
