I had forgotten just how much I love this Sugar Nellie Santa stamp, he was lurking at the bottom of my christmas stamp box since last year. I dug him out and created this card to add to my (slowly increasing) stock of Christmas cards I need to make. I coloured him with ProMarkers and added a little Spica glitter pen to his lantern so that it looks as though it is lit. I used Glossy Accents dusted with Glamour Dust on the trim of his hat, coat and beard to give maximum shimmer. The background paper is from the Papermania Deck the Halls pad and I love the little green spiral lines on some of the stripes. The red layers were embossed with a snowflake embossing folder and my trusty Cuttlebug. The sentiment is by Magnolia and the little bow is made from some of the silky cord ribbon I bought at hobbycraft last week (wish I'd bought more as it is really nice to work with!) I added some green Card Candy as a finishing touch on the top and bottom panels.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, please leave me a comment if you wish, I love reading them.
