Winter Whiff of Joy

The new Whiff of Joy Winter Kit droped through my letterbox last thursday and this lovely stamp was amongst the latest goodies.  The sledge is also one of the stamps in the kit and is just perfect for this elegant winter lady to sit on.  For the background I used one of my Graphicus Guild papers and layered this on to a piece of plain dark red paper from my stash.  I coloured the images with my ProMarkers and I think the holly green and burgundy red are a very elegant combination for a Christmas card.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Greetings set by Hobby Art Clear stamps.  The red organza ribbon, flower, gem in the centre of the flower and metal snowflake charm are from my stash.  I cut the layer with the sledge using a circle nestabilities die and layered this on to a piece of red card cut out with a petite scalloped circle nestabilities die.  I stamped a small snowflake from a CD's set of Christmas stamps randomly on the sledge layer, using evergreen chalk ink.  Finally, I added a little Polar White Flowersoft to simulate snow under the sledge.  One more Christmas card to add to my stock, which is good as I have so many to make!
