A group of girlfriends and I get together to have a meal a few times a year and we always meet up just before Christmas for a meal and to exchange cards and small gifts. This year I decided to make all the gifts I am giving to the girls. I created a box for each of them made from two sheets of 12x12 double sided paper and inside I have put one of these 'post-it' holders. The mini magnolia stamps I bought at the NEC in November are just the perfect size to fit these little note holders and I decided to use the sitting tilda and coloured her with ProMarkers. I then cut the image out using a scalloped oval nestabilities die used in my Cuttlebug. The sentiment was stamped using part of the 'just a note to say...' stamp from a Hobby Art sheet of clear stamps. The ribbon on the holders was from my stash and to finish the front off I punched out some large flowers from yellow card and small flowers in pink and layered them up. Finally, I added a small clear gem in the centre of each flower. I hope the girls will like them and find them useful to store their 'post-it' notes in.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you've enjoyed viewing my creations, please come again it's lovely to have you visit :o)
