Skating Snowie

Good day dear reader, today I'm sharing an unusual card with you!

I rarely ever use ready made toppers on my cards these days, but I recently bought a christmas goody bag from my local Art Shop and in it was a sheet of rather nice decoupaged toppers.  All the items in the goody bag are by American Traditonal Designs and are from their Snow Day range.

I had a few bits and pieces left from the white on white card I made recently and used one of the pieces of card which I'd embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I used this over a piece of the doubled-sided paper from the pack, turning the top right corner down and attaching a snowflake brad to hold it down and another on the base card.

I added glitter to the skating snowie topper and a small snowflake topper from the set, to bling them up a bit.  More glitter round the edges of the sentiment and a quick and easy card was finished.

I made one other card with the remaining bits and pieces and I'll be sharing that with you in the next couple of days.

May I say how nice your card is and how your ready made topper has benefited from being blinged up a bit further too.

I don't use toppers either, but you've made such a stunning card I may have to dig out my old toppers!
