Candy Cane Tilda

I used up more of the pretty Candy Cane paper I bought at my local art shop for this card.  This sweet Magnolia Tilda sitting on Sleigh image was sent to me recently by a very kind crafting pal. 

I managed to match the colours of my ProMarkers to the shades of green and red on the papers then added some winter lace stickles to the bobble and trim on her hat and her muff.  A little Spica glitter pen gives the snowflakes in the background some sparkle and I used Polar White Flowersoft on the ground to simulate the snow that Tilda's little sleigh is riding on.

I wrapped a length of red organza ribbon around the base layer and tied it in a bow at the front righthand side.  Finally, i added the image layer which I matted on to a piece of green striped paper which co-ordinates with the candy cane paper.  Another very simple layout but with such a busy image and background paper it works perfectly.
