Three Windows on Christmas

A really quick and easy card for you to see today.  Making use of my Cuttlebug and nestabilities cirle and petite scalloped circle dies.

I started with a plain red C6 card and using the petite scalloped circle die, I cut three apertures down the centre of the front of the card.  I then cut out 3 plain circles, very slightly smaller than the apertures in the base card, from white card.  On these white diecuts I stamped the holy sprig part only from a stamp from my Hobby House set of christmas sentiments.  I then coloured these with my ProMarkers and glued them to the inside of the card, potitioned so that they show through the apertures exactly and varying the angles for extra interest.

Next, I wrapped a length of red organza ribbon around the front of the card and tied it in a bow in the centre.  Finally, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Hobby House set direct to the base card using a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad.  A very quick and easy card but very effective and ideal for when you need to make a lot of cards in very little time!

Thanks for visiting, I love reading comments so feel free to leave me your thoughts on this card and the techniques used to create it.
