I just fell in love with this sweet Candy Cane paper when I found it in the 10p bargain box of 12x12 papers at my local art shop! I created this card for last week's Let's Get Stamping challenge over on
Craftbubble. With a sketch to follow the added twist was to include stripes and dots, so my lovely paper fitted the bill exactly. The teddy image is (I think) from Lilli of the Valley - it was a stamped image one of my crafting pals sent to me recently and I think he's such a cute chap with his robbin friend bringing him a small gift. I punched the flowers from a scrap of red card and added smaller flowers in the centres punched from a scrap of the matching green striped paper I used as the layer under the main image. I also added small clear gems in the centres of the small flowers to finish them off. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added small touches of Spica glitter pens, then cut it out with a nestabilities lable 6 die. On the bobble and trim of his hat I used Glossy Accents dusted with Glamour Dust and applied stickles to represent snow on the 'ground'. Two green dots of Card Candy completed the main image layer. I finally added the sentiment and attached a wodden Candy Cane button which I had coloured with ProMarkers.
Thank you for visiting today, I hope you've enjoyed popping by today and that you will return to view my work again in the future.

It's just fab - I would have snapped up that paper too, at 10p a sheet! Can't wait to see your sketch when you are GDTM on LGS.

Hi Wynneth! hope you are feeling better. love your card with that fab paper, and the image is from Stampavie - I think Gillian Roberts collection. I have a different stamp from the same collection if you should want to get inky!
