Feelin' Peachy!

I recently found the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog where their weekly challenges can include sketches, colour and subject themes.  There are prizes to be won too, so well worth entering a project.  My crafting pal Jayne introduced me to this blog, thank you so much Jayne!  She is a member of the blog Design Team and her work is amazing and it's well worth a visit to her own blog to check out her creations.

This week's challenge theme is "Feeling Fruity" which can be interpretted any way you wish!  I think this adorable Tilda with peaches from Magnolia stamps fits the bill perfectly for the challenge.  I coloured her with ProMarkers and cut the image layer out with a deckle edge rectangle nestabilities die.  The BPs are magazine freebies and again are pefect for the 'peachy' theme of this card.

I cut medium and small sized flowers with nestabilities dies from scraps of the same papers then embossed them in the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for added texture, finally I added green Card Candy in the centre of each flower.  I created the sentiment on my PC, printed in green ink, then cut it out with deckle-edge scissors to tie in with the other elements of the card.

The layout is based on the sketch from the 'Let's Get Stamping' challenge for this week over on Craftbubble, which also has the theme of using Spring colours - peach and minty green are perfect for this.  So I am going to enter this card for both challenges, I love it when a plan comes together!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and allowing me to share my creation with you.  Please call back again as I will have more creations to share with you.  It's great to get feedback and I would be so happy if you left me a comment before you leave!
